A Goodbye

Finals are over, my first semester of college is complete, and winter break is finally here!!

I cannot wait to go back to Georgia, to see my friends, to sleep in my own bed, to shower in my own shower (without shower shoes), and to eat some Chickfila! I also cannot wait to spend Christmas and New Years in Nantucket with my family!

However, I already feel as though a part of me is missing. Hannah and Natalie have become family to me and I will miss them terribly during this break. So much so that I was reluctant to let them go board another plane back to their homes!

A Goodbye 1

A Goodbye 2

A Goodbye 3

A Goodbye 5

A Goodbye 5

A Goodbye 6

It’s only been a few hours and I already can’t wait to see you girls again in three weeks!

  1. Oh..Caroline, I loved reading your blog! Especially loved that Alex and Heike made the pages! I can hear your voice as I read it and it makes me smile.
I can’t wait to hear more about your class because I love Tom Sahyac’s outlook on life. I first saw him on Oprah discussing his documentary…I AM…I still have yet to see it! Anyway, you are one lucky girl to experience his class. As Kat and I just discussed this a.m. (after she stayed up late watching a documentary about a wealthy family who lost everything in the 80’s) “things” can’t buy you happiness.
Looking forward to more posts…Love you! xo Robyn
