Wedding Wednesday – Ring Inspired

Emily’s Pick: The Caroline Ring from the Vintage Collection

emilyringI’m always drawn to anything vintage!   An elegant winter wedding came to mind while looking at this delicate yet sophisticated art deco ring.  First you must pick the dress as it set the tone for the rest of the wedding – The ivory Onyx dress from Bhldn fits the bill.  Accessories make an outfit so add a faux fur stole (because it will be cold of course), nails should be painted the color “wicked” from Essie, and lips coated in Mac’s Pure Zen. Flowers come next with a light pink, burgundy, soft green and cream palette.  For the table decor, adding touches of vintage inspiration wherever you can, like vintage plates, will tie it all together!

Allison’s Pick: Custom Designed Ring – Cushion Cut in the Harmony Setting

I had the hardest time creating a wedding inspiration board.  First, I decided to have some fun and build my own engagement ring!  That was the easy part.  I selected a 3 carat cushion cut conflict free diamond in the 18k white gold harmony setting!

Next, it was time to choose the dress.  Hmmmmm, Hmmmmmmm.  4 hours go by… I am not one of those girls who has their wedding all planned out.  I would love to have a rustic winter wedding, or an elegant New York, or a bohemian wedding.  I am so not picky.  The problem is I am an actress and I see myself in so many different ways!  So, I decided to take inspiration from old Hollywood… the traditional aspects (without the glitz and the drama).  Take a look…

Caroline’s Pick –  Bella Diamond Ring

Bella Diamond Ring

When it comes to engagement rings, I am drawn to romantic, delicate, and vintage looking pieces.  So, of course, I am all giddy with excitement. Because of the resemblance of a flower in this ring, my mind went straight to a spring wedding. A whimsical, romantic spring wedding with tons of flowers. And of course a lipstick and nail polish to match.
