So, here’s the thing about Nantucket. We love our lobster. In fact, I don’t think I have ever had lobster anywhere but Nantucket. For me, the two just go together like peas in a pod!
And you know what’s even better than a lobster? A lobster roll! The best one I have ever tasted is at Cru. So, on Allie’s last night in Nantucket (let’s not even talk about how she isn’t here anymore because we can’t handle it), Cru was the place she chose for one last lobster roll! Cru makes their lobster roll with buttered lobster instead of mayonnaised lobster…and that is what makes a world of a difference.
On top of their amazing lobster roll, Cru has one of the best restaurant locations on Nantucket – the wharf. The views of the water, boats coming in and out, and the sunset are just so pretty.
^^And one of those boats coming in and out just so happened to be Steve!
^^We convinced him to tie up the boat and come and join us for a lobster roll. It was such a fun surprise!
^^Their appetizers are pretty amazing too! We ordered the calamari and parsnip hummus.

^^Oh and we also love Cru because our favorite Reservations Manager on island, Caitlin, works there! Isn’t she a cutie?
We had such a fun night and miss Allie lots already!
