Raspberry Cheesecakes in Mason Jars

Remember last week when I talked about my favorite Saturday of the year – the POPS?? And remember when I said that I would share the recipe for the cheesecakes in mason jars another time? Well, that day has come, people!

These cheesecakes are pretty easy and pretty yummy! I just love how everyone gets his or her own individual cheesecake! And since I’m a sucker for mason jars, I simply couldn’t resist making this recipe. I think you will love them too! They’re perfect for picnics or dinner parties or even just satisfying that sweet tooth!

Try it out for yourself! I double dare you. And then comment below to tell me what you think! Happy baking! xoxo

P.S. If you get a bit impatient while the cheesecakes are in the oven, you can scoop some leftover graham cracker “crust” onto a spoon and then drizzle the filling on top like my mom did. (I caught her in the act!)

Steamed Clams on the Grill

I am in love with this recipe!!  I came across it in the Food Network magazine and knew I needed to try it.  I made it the other night for one of our Ott Hollister family dinners… and it was a hit!

This recipe truly is a delicious and easy recipe perfect for any summer night!  You could serve it over pasta or gather around, family style, and eat it straight from the tin foil (like we did)!  Be sure to serve with yummy, crusty bread so that you can soak up the amazing broth.  Can’t wait to make them again! Scroll down through the pictures to get to the recipe.

Apple Galette – Easy as pie!

AppleGalette

All the girls at Milly & Grace are obsessed with this new cookbook, “the forest feast”.  We sell it at the store, and we have to say, it is one of the most beautiful cookbooks we’ve seen.  On my day off, I decided to try out one of the recipes and bring it into the girls for a treat!  I have always wanted to make a galette so I decided to test out their Apple & Honey Galette… and let me tell you, it was easy as pie!!  A galette is a free form pie and it was easier than making an actual pie!  You could put any fruit in your galette! You could even make a savory galette with tomatoes, pesto and fresh mozzarella!  But let’s not get ahead of ourselves… Scroll down for the Apple Galette Recipe courtesy of The Forest Feast Cookbook!

OMG! THEY HAVE A BLOG!!  I just googled them.  It’s amazing.  You must visit!  You’ll want to eat your computer screen!  Everything on there is so inspired and fresh and delicious! Check it out…  The Forest Feast Blog
