1.  Caroline sent me this text yesterday…. ” For some reason I have bubble butt stuck in my head and it made me think of you.  I miss you!!!!” What does that say about me?  Should I be offended?

2.  I watched Bridget Jones’s Diary over the weekend.  Fact:  I know all the lines of Bridget Jones’s Diary by heart.  What does that say about me?  Should I be worried?

3.  I’ve been working on a scene in acting class.  Sometimes, you need to get the character up on its feet to know whether you are on the right path or not.  My character is much younger than me and is falling in love.  After I put up the scene last week, I realized that I was looking at this character with my 26 year old eyes/brain and all my experiences.  I wasn’t finding the excitement of falling in love like a 17 year old girl would have!   I realized that Allison (not the character) kinda fell out of love with the idea of falling in love.  What does that say about me?  Should I be concerned?

You can see me thinking hard in this picture… (READ IN BRITISH ACCENT) “And that was it.  Right there.  Right there, that was the moment.  I suddenly realized that unless something changed soon I was going to live a life where my major relationship was with a bottle of wine… and I’d finally die, fat and alone, and be found three weeks later half-eaten by wild dogs. Or I was about to turn into Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction.”  JUST KIDDING.  That was Bridget Jones.

Anyways, this past week I’ve been falling back in love with the idea of falling in love!

My favorite thing I’ve done has been dancing around my room and singing to Whitney Houston! Try it… it’s fun!!

4.  Patty used the term “baby mama” in a conversation last week.  What does that say about her?  Should we be worried?  Just kidding, Mom!  I loved it and think you’re cool!

5.  Emily did a whole post on what Ivy wore.  What does that say about her?  Should we be concerned?  Who wants to break the news to her that Ivy is a dog??  Just kidding, I absolutely loved it!  I want more pictures of Ivy!!

6.  Next Thursday is Thanksgiving… not this Thursday but next Thursday.  In two Thursdays, it’s Thanksgiving.  11 more sleeps.

7.  Patriots play tonight! MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!  YAY!  Emily… that means Steve will be busy tonight.

1. It’s Monday and it is Veterans Day!

A very important and BIG thank you to all the Veterans who have served our amazing country and have kept us safe… and to all those who are currently serving our country.  You are all so brave.  Land of the Free and Home of the BRAVE!!!  BECAUSE OF YOU!  Our Nanny (Milly), Papa (Milly’s husband) and Grandy (Grace’s husband) were all veterans… We love you!  Forever grateful.

 

2. On a completely different note…

I think a tricky, little pixie is serving up some Kool Aid in Hollywood… AND I want to stay very far away from it!!!  4 pixie cuts in a week??  People, I need to know how you feel about it.  Patty thinks it’s cute!

3.  COUNTDOWNS…. 16 days until Thanksgiving. 43 days until Christmas.  AHHHHHH.  Caroline, we need to start planning our Gingerbread House theme for the annual Gingerbread House decorating competition.

4.  I asked Caroline if there were any updates and she responded with the following text…

“There’s a chocolate thief in our house.  They’ve actually gone into rooms and stolen people’s chocolate…even found some in the back of people’s closet.  They don’t like hazelnuts though cause that’s always left behind.

They’re going to look on security cameras haha it’s been happening since the first week of school and it hasn’t stopped.  Unfortunately for that person, theft is a sin and gets you sent home to Malibu.”

LOL.  I think it’s a mouse.

5.  My friend got a cat this weekend.  I thought to myself, “why is she getting a cat?”.  I thought cats were prissy, mean and no fun… Well, I was wrong.  He is the sweetest cat ever.  He loves to play and cuddle.  He never puts his claws out.  He fell asleep in my arms while watching TV.  He was snoring too!  OH NO….. Am I a crazy cat lady in the making?????  Help!  I need to stop now before it’s too late!!

6.  I asked Patty if there were any updates on her end, and she informed me that the Braves are building a new stadium in Cobb County and that it will be ready for the 2017 season.  Thanks, Patty.  (Her Mom, Milly, was the biggest Brave fan ever.)

7.  My Starbucks drink of choice right now is an iced, grande Americano with two pumps of white mocha… It is still hot in LA.  It’s November.  I should be getting hot drinks and wearing mittens and scarves.  :(  But I have to say thank you to Starbucks for putting snowflakey decorations on the “iced” cups too and not just leaving all the festiveness to the hot cups.

8.  I am really into burning incense right now.

9.  Ivy is in “shop dog” training this week!  Emily is working with her so she can join in on all the Milly & Grace fun!  I think she is the cutest Milly & Grace Girl… sorry, Caroline!

WELCOME BACK TO ANOTHER….

I’m your host, Allison, and it’s another Monday… and another Same Page Monday.  Here we go!

(Every Monday, I feel like I’m in the movie, Groundhog Day.)

1.  I don’t know if you all know this but… THE RED SOX WON THE WORLD SERIES!! YAY!!

(Just kidding, of course you all know this!!)

2.  I don’t know if you all know this, but watching the Sox beat the Cardinals reminded me of one of my childhood hobbies… Bird watching.  Yep, that’s right.  Bet you didn’t see that coming.  Living in Boston, there were all these amazing little birdies flying around or perched in trees.  I especially loved going on the swan boats in Boston Common, and I loved the book, Make Way for Ducklings.  I also had a bird book that would help me to identify all the different kinds of birds!  Omg.  I can’t even believe I’m admitting to this.  Am I really writing about this right now?  Well, cat’s already out of the bag… my favorite birds were cardinals and chickadees!

3.  Popped a blood vessel in my eye this weekend.  Don’t know how…  they (as in WebMD) say it will go away in 1 to 3 weeks. 3 weeks??  Great.

4.  Y’all, I don’t know if y’all know this… but it’s November.  November.  As in Christmas cups at Starbucks, as in Christmas music on the radio (too early), as in Thanksgiving in a few weeks, as in it’s almost Christmas, as in you need to start Christmas shoppin’, as in it’s almost 2014… Where did this year go, y’all?? (for some reason I felt like I needed to write this in my southern accent.)

5.  My friend’s car wouldn’t start this weekend.  (We were trying to go on a Target run.)  She didn’t have AAA….???  LADIES, you must have AAA!!!  Luckily, I did!  (Thanks, Dad!)  What would she have done with out me?  What would we do without AAA?  I wrote a post about it on my other blog.  Click here to read.

6.  We can now add “Swiss Alps Babes” to our funny searches list!  I can’t decide which one is my favorite… “Swiss Alps Babes” or  “Skinny Dipping Girls”.  That’s a tough one.
