My Favorite Moments from The Golden Globes 2013

Ben Affleck winning Best Director!

I couldn’t have been more excited for Ben!!  It was one of those moments where I was thinking in my head… “Come on, Ben… Come on, Ben”, knowing that he probably won’t win because he is up against Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, Ang Lee and Kathryn Bigelow and  was left off the Oscar nomination list…. but then HE WON!  You could tell he was truly surprised!!!

Jen playing the wife role!

Before doing her job of presenting the Golden Globe for Best Actor, Jen made sure to thank the few people Ben forgot… on behalf of her husband.  It was so cute.  Such a real moment.  And the Golden Globe for Cutest Couple goes to… Ben And Jen!

Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig and their hilarious bit!

I can’t wait for the day when the two of them host the Golden Globes or the Oscars.  They are beyond funny.  “And Judi Dench.. Where did she come from?”

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler –  Telling T Swift to stay away from Michael J Fox’s son!

“She needs some ‘me time’ to learn about herself!”

Adele’s acceptance speech!

Great acceptance speech! I loved how she was so herself and not “hollywood”!  She was really  living in the moment!

Dear 2013, I already love you!

Happy New Year!  It’s going to be a great year!  I am focused on my career and making my dreams come true.  Right when I got back from my Nantucket holiday with the family, I had an audition for an Indie short film.

Audition 2

^ Audition sides. Headshots.

Audition 3

^ Audition “selfie”.  Sorry. Had to.

Audition 4

^ View from Siren Studio balcony.  Waiting for audition.  Hollywood sign.

So did I get the part?  No, I didn’t.  BUT the producer called saying that he and the writer/director would LOVE to write and produce another short with me as the lead!  HOW EXCITING IS THAT?!? I am looking forward to collaborating with them.  This will be a great opportunity to be apart of the whole production process.  Brainstorming, script writing, casting, producing, scheduling, production, editing, marketing of the final product… maybe some film festivals!  One of my dreams is to eventually have my own production company.  I love being apart of a project from beginning to end.  Building something from nothing.  All very exciting!  I am so grateful to have this opportunity.

Happy New Year from Nantucket!
