Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! The Milly & Grace Girls love this holiday and believe it should be celebrated regardless of if you’re single or taken. It’s just the celebration of love, which is one of the greatest feelings in this world. Whether it’s love between sisters, friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wives, parents or grandparents. Valentine’s day is just an opportunity to show those you love a little bit of extra love.
In honor of Valentine’s Day coming up, we put together a couple date ideas inspired by where each of us live. Here’s what we came up with…
All the Single Ladies! All the Single Ladies! Just because you don’t have a boyfriend or a date on Valentine’s Day doesn’t mean you have to sit at home in your sweat pants and baggy t-shirt, eating a whole pint of Ben & Jerry’s alone… Call all your girls up and have them over for a “Little Black Dress” Dinner Party! Tell them to wear their favorite “Little Black Dress”. Then have them over for a fun night full of appetizers, Red Velvet wine and girl talk! For dessert, mini Ben & Jerry ice creams… Cherry Garcia and Volun – Tiramisu (available at Target). Also for a treat, some gummy Prince Charming frogs! Be sure to have an awesome playlist… you can have a little dance party and make this a Valentine’s to remember!
There are so many outdoor adventures you can do in Switzerland, such as hiking, skiing, and canyoning. And I always have so much fun doing them. So, I figured an outdoor adventure would be the perfect date. One activity in particular I have yet to do is the glacier swing. You’re attached to a harness and you jump off a platform, free fall for about 5 seconds before shooting out and swinging back and forth across a glacier with huge trees and mountains around you. I think it would be so fun to do as a couple and totally thrilling. Since its cold here, bundling up in a scarf and mittens is a must. Afterwards, grabbing some Swiss hot chocolate would be the perfect way to finish off the adventure. And finally, at some point during the day, exchange gifts. Flowers are one of my absolute favorite things in the entire world. They make me really happy so a bouquet of red and pink flowers for me. And since it’s a Swiss themed date, a Swiss Army Knife for him.
Do you have any plans for Valentines Day yet?
